Sena Loyd

Director, Public Policy

As Director of Public Policy, Sena leads both federal and state policy efforts for Blockchains, including the policy efforts of the Web3 ID Coalition, of which Blockchains is a founding member.  Prior to this, she led research and education efforts for the company. Sena holds an undergraduate degree in Anthropology from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a graduate degree in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University.

Sena sits on several industry committees, including serving as President of the Web3 ID Coalition, which advocates for public policy that paves the way for secure, portable, and trusted digital identities. She is also deeply connected to her local community and serves as Vice President of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Nevada and Planning Commissioner appointed by the Carson City Board of Supervisors. Sena lives in northern Nevada where she enjoys the outdoors (in the summer), never-ending DIY projects, and traveling whenever possible.
