Tim Romanowski

VP, Engineering

Tim Romanowski is a hands-on technologist passionate about all aspects of software design and development.  As vice president of engineering at Blockchains, he is responsible for leading and growing the company’s global engineering teams with an emphasis on automation, technical excellence, hyper-collaboration, and flawless execution – with a determined focus on building the world’s best tools for other developers who share Blockchains’ vision for protecting the rights of the individual as the web evolves.

Tim joined Blockchains in 2022 following a 20-year career at Lockheed Martin Corporation, where he led the design, implementation, and delivery of numerous software solutions spanning domains such as Wide Area Motion Imagery, Synthetic Aperture RADAR, and various massively scalable distributed geospatial processing platforms.  He was responsible for pathfinding numerous R&D projects across international defense and intelligence agencies, a subject matter expert for the Motion Imagery Standards Board, an Agile coach, and a champion for continuous improvement.

Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Binghamton University, as well as a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Technology Management from Villanova University.  He lives in Pennsylvania amidst a horde of D&D manuals and an extensive collection of board games.
