As Director, Cybersecurity Architecture Operations, Matthias is responsible for managing the Security Engineering and DevSecOps teams with a focus on implementing and operating security tools, and hardware security modules, obeying a secure software development lifecycle, as well as ensuring operational security.

Matthias has a Bachelor’s of Information Technology and over 20 years of experience in software development, databases, middleware administration, automation, and DevOps, always with a strong focus on security. Prior to Blockchains, he gained experience with load balancers, container technologies, hardware security modules, and CI/CD on various projects.

In his spare time, Matthias likes to explore new technologies, enjoy cruises to new places, and work on home and yard projects.
